‘The mentor helped us examine the business potential of our new enterprise and has assisted us with business planning and financial forecasting. The advice given has been thoroughly professional and invaluable. This has resulted in us forming a Community Interest Company which, as a business, can combine the expertise and enthusiasm of our staff with social needs of the local people for this unique service’

“Blackpool Enterprise – Social Enterprise Solutions have helped us all the way. We needed to develop our existing business and found it useful to have someone to bounce our ideas off. We have found their help with setting up our social enterprise invaluable”
Blackpool Spotlight CIC, Managing Director: Roger Tretton

“I incorporated a community interest company as my exit strategy without a definitive business plan. Ideas were developed over 12 months which offered solutions for Blackpool Council’s visitor strategy and at the same time would assist residents of the deprived wards. Both Blackpool Enterprise CIC and Tick the Publicity Box have helped me to develop these ideas and put my ideas forward to an audience of senior officers of the public sector as well as top business executives in the private sector – I am very grateful for the high level professional assistance that has assisted me to develop my social enterprise”
Fylde  Coast Training Solutions CIC, Chief Executive: Ann Rodham

“Without Blackpool Enterprise CIC we would never have been able to become an independent social enterprise”.
Vitaline (Northwest) Community Interest Company CEO Margaret Seddon

“Blackpool Enterprise has helped our association to take the steps towards becoming a Social Enterprise. I have regular meeting with an advisor who knows our business and who guides us through the process. Ultimately the association will be stronger for undertaking this change.”
