Waterloo Road, Blackpool, Christmas tree and street lights switch-on, with thanks to the Big Lottery Fund’s Celebrate grant and arranged by Social Enterprise Solutions, a community interest company. Present were the High Sheriff of Lancashire, John Barnett MBE DL, the Worshipful the Mayor of Blackpool, Councillor Kath Rowson and the Mayoress Ms Joan Goldin, double paralympic silver medal winning swimmer Tom Hamer and Balckpool boxer Brian Rose.
