I’m very lucky – I’ve had 2 careers, my first career was 30 years as a retailer in the private sector. I then moved over to the social enterprise sector and it’s given me enormous job satisfaction. Now I enjoy going to work and more importantly I enjoy the results of our work. That work was all money-based, and this sector is all about people. Job satisfaction is everything: when we can see the fruits of our work and see that people’s lives have changed. So, thank you very much for this award!”
